Olympic Executive

Do you want to fly away from large busy metropolitan hub airports and their traffic with corporate jets exploring an alternative network of smaller challenging airports and their approaches, delivering VIP passengers on time in special destinations? If yes Olympic Executive is for you.

Olympic Executive is the latest subsidiary of Olympic Air Virtual Group. It commenced operations on March 2015 when the first test flights took place while the operations were being set up until the May 2015 launch. Its goal is the simulation of an executive airline tasked with transporting VIP passengers to/from various business hubs - mainly - and resorts of the world. Olympic Executive will operate exclusively VIP/business/executive oriented aircraft (e.g. Cessna Citation X, Boeing BBJ, etc.) and fly to/from VIP/business/executive oriented airports. London City EGLC airport is the base of its medium/light size jets while Athens Venizelos LGAV is the base of its Boeing 737 BBJ. For the route structure and operations of our corporate jets, pilots of two real executive jet companies were consulted. More information on this can be found in our forum.

Olympic Executive is simulating the financial model of a real airline (passenger fares, aircraft maintenance, pilot salaries, airport expenses, catering, fuel, etc.). Olympic Executive pilots can belong to and fly also with other OAV subsidiaries which simulate the financial model. The company is set up with a route base of 46 Corporate jet destinations in Europe. For more – important - information visit the company’s forum in our website.

All aircraft have unique registrations and are occupied by the pilots until they complete their flight and send their PIREP. Each aircraft is situated in a specific airport and the pilot must fly it from there to any available destination as per the schedule. Once the PIREP is sent, the aircraft moves to the destination airport awaiting its next flight/booking.

In order to join Olympic Executive you have to:

  • have the rank of Captain (if you are a member of OAV) or equivalent experience to justify the rank of Captain from another VA or organization (if you are not a member and want to join us now).
  • complete successfully a multiple choice test.
  • complete a checkride to assess your basic flying skills by executing a small flight under IFR rules and ATC.

To remain in Olympic Executive you have to fly at least two flights in a two month period.
