Black Square, via its marketing partner Just Flight, has released the Caravan Professional for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Announced a little over a year ago, the Caravan Professional offers significant improvements over the developer’s older “Analog Steam Gauge Series” Caravan. The Caravan Professional brings much more than a cockpit upgrade. Black Square says it offers “one of the most technically advanced aircraft simulations for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with 100+ possible failures, 12 hot-swappable radio configurations, Black Square’s turbine engine simulation with beta range implementation, and the most advanced cabin temperature simulation in MSFS.“

Among the notable improvements in Black Square’s newest Caravan are a custom exterior model featuring the  675 shp Pratt & Whitney turbine-powered Grand Caravan with and without the cargo pod, the Super Cargomaster, and the Amphibian Caravan on amphibious floats. All aircraft feature refined turboprop simulation, CFD-based modeling, 12 hot-swappable avionics configurations, and Black Square’s tablet interface. A custom sound package by Boris Audio Works is also included for a truly immersive experience.

Options include: The Caravan Professional Passenger version, or Caravan Professional Amphibian & Cargo. Priced individually, each package is $47.99. A bundle featuring all four variants is available for $64.99. The aircraft is fully compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024.
